I have been reading about the Homer Laughlin China and I bought these at an antique store near my home. I was looking at the mark and wondered if they are legit?
If I read correctly, the C stands for March and the 57 is 1957? I am new at collecting and I just fell in love with the pattern on these pieces!

It looks genuine to me. You can send the pictures to replacements.com and they can identify it for you.
This stamp was used in the period mid-1932 to 1968:
a single letter means the month - L = November,
a double digit number for the year - 57 = 1957,
Judging by the stamp, it is from 1957.
The name of the pattern: Jean. It is discounted.
There is a creamer and a saucer in the photo.
