These are beetles. They are a nuisance, but harmless
They are small beetles which seem to love the light and the heat of a window cell. Many people find these in their homes during the summer months. They are hard to get rid of, but they won't do any damage at all.
Just curious if you kept having them...my gals group just met last night and we were talking about bugs and the one gal had something that looked like the bugs you found...only she found them on window ledges and in her pantry and in food bags.
She had to remove everything from her kitchen, throw out all the bagged and boxed food and start over. Now doesn't stock up on things in boxes and bags and keeps her flour and sugar in the fridge.
The exterminator told her hers were sawtoothed grain beetle, he said they hitchhike into our homes from grocery stores and told her to take her goods out of the original container and store in glass (tightly sealed jars) or the freezer.
