It is possible they are June bugs...I am going to attach a link so can compare yours to the photo:

www.britannica.com/.../June-beetle

This is a broad name for a bunch of "scarab beetles" that can wreck havoc with your yard if left untreated.

They sometimes come inside for warmth.

Best to vacuum them up, the outside check and fix any leaks/cracks around doors, window, and in the foundation.

Clean thoroughly inside and outside (outside get rid of yard debris/brush around the house).

If you see them outside also, the natural way to get rid of them is to set up a light (like you can use a porch light) and put a bucket on a chair a few feet away with an inch or so of cheap vegetable oil in it. They will be attracted to the light and the oil...when they go to get the oil, they drown.

I hate killing anything and only recommend this if they are causing damage to your yard. With this method it harms them but is not using dangerous chemicals that can kill everything and hurt pets/children. Do try to keep pets or children near the oil just to keep everything safe. Oil can upset human or animal tummies if they ingest too much. Safety first!!

Post back if that is what you have!

Do they have a brown and black and tan pattern on their back? They could be carpet beetles?

Post back with an update!

I believe this to be the quite common carpet beetle. See www.domyown.com/carpet-beetle-identification-guide... . Also <The larvae of A. verbasci are a common household pest. Adult beetles usually lay their eggs in air ducts, in closets, under furniture, or under baseboards. Once hatched and until they pupate into adults, the larvae hide in dark, undisturbed areas and feed on organic material.

The larvae are thus responsible for the damage of various items, such as furniture, clothing, blankets, furs, and carpets. They are commonly found in musical instruments which have been stored for lengthy periods of time, feeding on pads and felts most commonly found in woodwind instruments.> One final reference about what to do next: bugman9.com/.../ . Good luck!
