I found this bug on a wall and another in a cup. I am not sure what it is.

Actually it looks like carpet beetle larvae which is their "infant" stage.
If you can vacuum them all up and get rid of them, they should go away before they become a full grown carpet beetle.
If you continue to see them (or see the adults scurrying around), you may need to clean debris from around your house (they also like leaf debris and rotting plants). Seal cracks in bricks, window frames, and doors to prevent them from coming in.
If you really see a lot of them (larvae and adults both), you may need a professional to come in and take care of it. Most of the time, a vacuum (and good cleaning--preferably a steam clean) of the area will get rid of the problem.

It could be a carpet beetle. Vacuum thoroughly and get an exterminator.
They are carpet beetles. If you continue to find a lot more around your home you'll need to get them taken care of. I normally put out flypaper around the floor and they stick to it and it makes it easy to get rid of them.
