These were in my steamer trunk! What are they?I have no idea what these could have been used for! If anyone can help out that would be awesome! Thank you in advance!!
The wire hooks appear to be able to close inwardly and aid in locking something in place. I've checked a lot of steamer trunks and none has these pieces showing on the interior/exterior. Perhaps if the trunk has drawers or place to hang something to, this "could" be a part to an additional accessory. OR, it was placed inside that belongs to something not connected to the trunk's use at all. I would also contact antique dealers to find out more.
Industrial and farm machinery often have metal plates attached with the manufacturer's name or logo. With old ones it can be difficult to identify the company and establish an age.
I got this at a swap meet. It appears to be metal and has engravings. The lid lifts up and inside was a tiny scoop. Maybe it is some kind of sugar container?
I have been given this picture. I must admit I have never seen this type before. What kind of craft picture is this? I am not sure if it is copper or brass.
