I have had this bear for a very long time since I was about 3 or 4. My mum says we got him in a hand grab in a 76 truck stop June 2003. He has bean bags in his butt and limbs. No tag. Also, he didn't originally have the belly button, she added that for me.

The closest resemblance to your bear is a TY Dye Bear, but the similarities are in the "V" stitch shape on the face, possible same sizes, stitches down arms, ear shapes. The differences are on the TY Bear, the feet point to the left and to the right sides while yours from the posted photo shows facing upward. The stitching across the ankle is not on the TY Bear where yours is. Also, the eyes on the Ty Bear are placed within the "V" stitch pattern while your bear's has them placed outside the"V".
With no visible tag, it's quite possible the bear you own is a "knock off" type during the tye dye period and had no tag, so it could be sold through the manufacturer to carnivals, fairs, etc. who all shared in purchasing. Period being possibly in the 60s and 70s when tye dyes were popular.
I do not believe you will find a 'brand' name for your bear as the companies that own these machines buy these toys by the thousands to distribute all over the US and foreign countries.
