My gut says it has a 1940s vibe with 1980s upholstery, but that us guy feeling. I would need to know a little more to really be certain.
This is a unique pattern on the rung. Can you find a mark on the underside? Of the rings or seat? Are there brass caps on the feet bottoms or how are they finished? Is the upholstery stapled on or nailed or glued?
How is the seat affixed to the base? Neat piece. Thanks for sharing! Hopefully with more information, we can get you a true age.
