Which porcelain dolls are these? They were given to me with zero information about them. So I am just trying to look into it more. The one in the black dress says 9658 on the back of the neck and the one in the red/purple dress has nothing to identify it.

These are mass-produced dolls. Although pretty, they are worth less than $25 each.

How tall are they?
Is their hair real or mohair or synthetic?
Are their dresses machine or handmade?
Are their bodies stuffed with cotton or something else?
Are the heads rooted to the body or are they held on with strings?

If there are no markings on the dolls and you can not find anything on the back of the head or feet I would guess they are mass-produced dolls and it will be very hard to identify them and get the actual names of the dolls. People are selling these on eBay for as low as $1 and as high as $25.
