This black bug crawls (no wings) fast along walls, ceilings, and flooring. I don't have carpet. It has what appears to be two white stripes on its back and long "antennae". Please help as I see at least two of these a day. Could they be helping to control a population of other bugs - so keep them alive? Or, are we in danger with having them around?
Thank you in advance.

The photo is not that clear but it looks like a Scarites quadriceps which is a beetle that comes into your home. I would trap these and get rid of them because they are not a good thing to keep around.
it looks like a beetle or a bit like a cricket. It is hard to tell from the photo. Chances are it is after decomposing matter in your home, or moisture
It is a black cockroach larvae.
