These little (tiny, a few could fit on to a penny.) winged (haven't seen them fly, just have seen them expand when trying to get out of my cat's water dish.) brown, with a darker color head, shelled insects have been in my room the past week. I have found more and more everyday! They're in my cat's water dish, on the lamp shade then one crawled on me in my bed. I lost it, stripped my sheets and there were more on my bed.
I first thought baby roaches and almost set the bed on fire. But, they are significantly smaller and slower than roaches. They're actually very slow. I just don't get why they're in my bed, unless they've nested there. (shiver)
Anyway, other than helping with identify, if you could assist on getting rid of them? Please, and thank you in advance for taking the time to answer.

The bug is in the beetle family and loves carpets, bed fibers, and things like this. You'll need to vacuum them up and empty the cleaner each time. Laying down some sticky fly paper is a great way to trap them and get them out of your home.
Looks like a Beetle( Carpet Beetle). Here is more info on this insect- www.healthline.com/
