Can anyone identify these bugs? They were outside on my wooden patio cover. They completely covered it and I spent several hours spraying them with an environmentally safe bug killer. It barely works so I sprayed them with the hose. There were millions of these. I live in northern California. The temp was about 75 to 80 degrees today. They must have just hatched. I didn't see them yesterday.

They look like tuxedo bugs. Harmless, just keep brush and weeds in control and they usually move on to more hospitable locations
This could be a ladybug larva. There are many types of ladybugs. All their larvae look different. I was about to exterminate hundreds of them.
