I found these insectson my bed recently. They are very tiny like specks of dust, a black colour, and able to fly. And, I think I might have got bitten by them. The bite feels like sharp, piercing pain.
Thank you if anyone could shed a light on what it is, is it harmful, and how to get rid of them. I appreciate all kind advice.

It almost looks like a no see em bug or even a chigger. You can try putting on some mint oil on your skin to stop them from bitting you. I would make a trap or even get some flypaper to try and trap them. You can check with your local pest control company in your area and see what they recommend to spray them with to get them out of your home.
I had an issue with some like you describe. I placed a small container with some apple cider vinegar and a little bit of liquid soap on a window sill near the bed and they drown themselves in it and all were gone in a couple of days. Good luck.
I filled sink with water and had six bugs in the water in the morning, also put a jar of water by my bed and got a few by morning, so I put jars of water all over the house to catch them
didnt work for us. this was like feeding them and it seems like more joined in.
Hi, Did you finally come to the conclusions which bug is it & how did you get rid of it.
I have the same kind of bugs at my place.
I have these stupid things and put out apple cider vinegar and they are staying away from it but going in to my freezer? What the hell I want them gone
I purchased "Buzz B-Gone," a small indoor electronic zapper (no noise) which can be left plugged in or charged and moved around.
It has a particular light spectrum color (sort of purple) which attracts flying gnats, mosquitoes, etc. It really works. I had one, but ordered 3 more, one for each room.
I tried this and it did not work. The little buggers did not even go near it.
So do I have to get rid of all house plants. We have plants in bedroom too but they are not in there- yet
If they do watch out because you're in a world for a whole lot of trouble I don't know what they are they say they're flying midgets or something like that but they are horrible because disease and they are a parasite of some type trust me I know cuz it happened to me and it still happened to me and I can't find anybody to help me it's overwheld everything my body my life and everything and I am miserable so please take heat and see if you can get this checked into and taken care of before it gets too late
This is from a parasite. Inside your body. Somewhere you have mold in your house too. Or moisture.
We also share some parasites , worms, with our pets. Particularly dogs. Unfortunately doctors are still being taught that this doesnt happen. Or is rare. Or only happens in other countries. They will call your crazy or accuse you of doing it to yourself. Or even a drug addict. Your not crazy. Your not doing this on purpose or at all.
I really would love to chat with you. You seem to be the only person who gets it.
What your describing is exactly what I am struggling so bad with it's been way to long and I'm loosing hope. I'd really appreciate if we can connect. God bless you thank you
I know exactly what you're saying they have destroyed what life I did have don't have much life at all now is when they buy it staying or whatever they do they eat real bad and then it seems like they leave something in your skin and you scratch and scratch and scratch and they have so many little ones out of your skin before you know it you're covered it I don't know what to do I've tried everything
You don't have to get rid of your house plants. There are several home remedies for plant gnats, fruit flies, fungus gnats, etc. There's one that uses garlic, ground cloves and something else I can't remember off the top of my head. My friend uses it on her plants and it works. :)
Both yours and op's bugs could very well be midges. They're like mosquitoes and do bite. Some carry disease. But, not all.
Im going through same thing (over 2 years now). Ive been told Im on drugs, its stress, parasitic psychosis!!! Im not crazy and finally today was able to get a good picture (bc they always blur) & video.
Ive visited every Dr I can think of and its awful the treatment Ive received. All tests that have been performed (due to my persistence) have come back negative. I cant explain why, but as Ive told every Dr., I KNOW MY BODY!! These is something wrong and please help me. But after one negative test result they just act like Im crazy.
My whole life has been destroyed bc theses parasites are terrible and completely paralyse you. Im a college
graduate and have worked my entire life, except these last two years.
Hopefully, this medicine
It could be a gnat or chigger. Spray with an all-purpose insecticide.
They most definitely are not Chiggers. More like flying midgets of some sort. They are carnivores and they let the smell of blood they love blood that's what they live off of and they will bite you in a piercing and it leaves a deep hole in your skin and with that they lay worms or their eggs or whatever so be very aware of what they could do and make sure you get checked by your doctor or by somebody thank you
I have been invested with them and they are in my skin and trying to exit through my feet I feel miserable what should I do
I have them to.i had a few fly out of my kitchen bin so I emptied it and cleaned it but now there are loads and loads of them everywhere they is nothing dirty or rotten in my kitchen so I don't know why I have so many
They Are called Drain Flys.. They come out threw your pipes... They only live for about 48 hours but they have babies like crazy. Block all your drain holes off when not using them
These pests you guys are talking about are likely midges, some species of mosquito or another biting fly. There are plenty of ways to get rid of them. A quick internet search would show you a good list to start out with. Please, please, please do not start putting foreign things into your body because someone on the internet said to. That can be very dangerous to yourself and your pets. There are innumerable kinds of pests around us everyday, everywhere. 99.99999% of them are not invading your body.
