It could just be a hooded beetle or one of the carpet beetles--both families can be mistaken for bedbugs if they are feeding on the debris in your bed. They typically eat fibers and come inside for warmth.
These 2 beetles are pesky, but harmless. Vacuum them up, clean everything and unless you have an infestation, they usually go away.

Diatomaceous Earth (food grade ONLY) - This product works against all types of bugs, including bedbugs and fleas. To use it successfully, spread it all over the floor and in cracks and crevices. It can take up to 10 days to work, but the fine powder has tiny shards that kill insects.
Do not put this on your mattress as it is made up of tiny shards, though microscopic, can get into your lungs and cause damage.

Rubbing alcohol - Pour it in a spray bottle and spritz everything but furniture. The alcohol will kill bugs on contact but is only temporary and only kills bugs you hit.
Hair dryer - A temporary solution but will kill bugs on contact so you can blast around your bed at night.
If it turns out you do not have bedbugs you can post back with better pictures and someone will try to help you further.

A thorough cleaning, vacuuming, washing all linens/bedclothes is the first step. Use hottest water possible. Use at least one or two cups of white vinegar in your final rinse. Remove vacuum bag to garbage outside.

That is a bedbug and you need to get some help immediately to get them out of your home and save as much as you can. Look around and make sure you do not have a lot of them running around. They are normally around the feet of the bed and cracks in the wall.
