First: How do you know she is a Dan Dee doll?
What type of mark does she have on the back of her neck? Perhaps Collector's Choice?
- She sure looks like a Marilyn Monroe doll to me but Dan Dee never made a Marilyn so that must not be.
- I have found a couple of dolls that appear to be in the same class as yours but nothing just like your doll.

- If you are sure it is a Dan Dee then you may have to just keep renewing your search on eBay, Google and Etsy. You can narrow your search some with maybe blonde, how tall?, and even faux fur occasionally might get smaller results so less time consuming.
- Be sure to check the back of her neck for any markings.
- I do not believe Dan Dee ever put the doll name on anything but the original box and most listings do not go by a name, but usually might have a size and color of hair.

Your doll has really aroused my curiosity so I have researched a little further. Following are some of my later findings.
- It appears there are several companies that use similar names and they do many different products; food, stuffed toys/bears, etc. (Dan Dee, DanDee, Dandee names).
- The one company link that was given makes only stuffed animals and appears to have originally made dolls but not any more. I seriously doubt that you will receive any response/information from this this but cannot hurt to try. I only make this remark as reading the comments made by others and they are trying to get information on plush animals - that is what this site is all about.
- Check it out for yourself.

- It is possible this site is the only part of this original company left; you might call them for information but very doubtful about finding out anything about your doll.

- I cannot find any really reliable history of this company and Wikipedia has nothing so that is a bust. Here is all that is stated.

- I believe your doll may be in Collectors Choice line made by DanDee but you may have to do more research yourself. Your picture is not good enough for me to see all of the facial features so that is what you will have to look for as well as hand features. There will be several different facial features on dolls but you might find one that looks like yours. Check mouth, eyes, expression.
- I have some links to get you started but you can find more.

- This particular doll seems to favor your doll so she might be of the 20's style.

- Here is a link to check out as there are a lot of doll collectors who answer on here. Be sure to check any markings on her back before you ask any questions.

Next I would try the library , see if you can find a book on "Dolls" or "Collecting Dolls" or any thing with the title "Dolls".
