I purchased this "doll" on eBay and it is marked on the bottom "Sharon Kaminisy 91" I don't know if this is the maker. I found another doll maker "Debbie Garlem" on the Bittersweet Pastimes site and I thought this doll looked a little like her work, any thoughts.
Thanks
I'm not sure but I believe your Santa is one of the mass produced Santas that have been made by numerous 'unknown' companies that make items like this and sell to large distributors who sell to all the toy stores, drug stores, even Walmart, WayFair, Target, K-Mart, etc.
The name written on the bottom, Sharon Kaminisy 91" is most likely the name of the person the doll belonged to; maybe she purchased it in 1991?
You do not state how tall your Santa happens to be, but most of these run from !6" to 35" and taller.
They usually represent some country or area so if you look at your Santa closely you may be able to determine what style/country he represents.
Here are links to new similar Santa's so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Is his face fabric? There were several companies who sold patterns/kit faces for these primitive Santa's from the 1970s on. One was, if I remember right, called Dumplinragamuffin. If you Google primitive Santa's 1990s you will see many with the unusual eyes and nose. You will see these with unique features made by the artist or mom or granny who created the pieces. If you are selling use the phrase primitive Santa to get attention.

I found this doll in a thrift store today, but I cannot make out the signature on the back. It is 18" tall. She was made in 1999 and is numbered.
Please check out the pictures. Any info would be great! Thank you!
Thanks everyone for your help! I found her! Her name is Kate and she was made by Kathleen Hill for Paradise Galleries. Only worth about $30 I think.
Does anybody know what this maker mark is? This is the doll.
Looks like PghGirl has provided all of the information about this cutie.
