This is a pretty doll, but not valuable. It was either mass-produced or made from a doll kit.

What a lovely gift!! Your hunny sounds very sweet to buy you something so lovely!

Can you tell me how tall she is and what is inside the geometric shape on the back of her head? What is she stuffed with?

Is her hair a wig that fits over the cap of her head? Does the hair feel real or synthetic? Are her eye lashes real or painted?

Figuring out who she is may not be possible without more info. I am leaning to her being a kit doll...just because of the outfit, but often even the store bought dolls were redressed, so I can't be positive.

The outfit is pretty, but when I did a close up of it, especially around the loop closure it looks handmade. The loop closure (AKA Velcro or like closure) makes it newer also as "Velcro" was invented in 1957. The colors in the outfit are very 1980s or very early 1990s, so that is where I peg the outfit. I would be willing to venture she is the same age as the dress.

Maybe with more info, I may be able to help more. Thanks for sharing her!

This is a very adorable doll and it looks like it was actually made from a kit. I had to help my daughter and a few of her little school buddies make some one year.

I have seen this doll head or ones similar to them in craft stores when we went to buy the supplies we needed to make the dolls for a school project.

She is cute and most likely 'one-of-a-kind' as the the roughness of the head indicates it is probably hand made from a mold and maybe even in a shop where everyone makes a doll from beginning to end.

You might take a picture of the markings to some of the larger craft stores and they may be able to help you identify the head mold.
If you Google doll making classes with your zip code you may find something in your area.

These are the kind of people who may be able to help you with this.
I believe it is probably from the 80-90's when doll making was still in fashion.
