Identifying a Hello Kitty Plush?

October 22, 2022

The front of a Hello Kitty plush. This is a Hello Kitty plush I got at a sketchy thrift store a few months ago. I've never been able to find what kind of plush she is, or if shes even official! I'm asking for any help I can get with recognizing her. She's one of my most favorites in my collection and I'd like to learn her worth, age, etc :)

When I first got her she was very dirty, which made me think she was older but I suppose any plush can be as filthy as she was.

The details that aren't mentioned in my visual aid (I drew her because my room was dark):

- she doesn't have a tag anywhere, nor do I know where there could've been a tag located. This being said, I'm unsure if she's an offbrand plush or not. I never received her with tags or anything

- Her arms, legs, top torso, and head are plush, while her bottom torso is filled with beads to give her weight while sitting down.

- The spots on her dress and bow aren't printed with the fabric, they're more rubbery? or glossy, I don't really know the word, in texture.

- Her shoes aren't spotted like the dress and bow.

I've never found anything that looks similar to this, which is why I've come here. I have found one plush that looks like it may be apart of a similar set or series, but isn't the same. This in which is located at this link:

Keep in mind the plush I have doesn't have shiny clothes like this one has! nor a crown, but the texture seems to be similar and the face (eyes and nose) are nearly identical.

Any information would help me a lot, and I can try to answer questions too!

Thank you in advance :D

She is cute but I do see several 'things' that make me wonder about the authenticity of your plush.
No tag is a bad sign and even worse if there is no indication of where a tag may have been.
I do not remember seeing a real Hello Kitty with 'shoes' but this I could have missed.

This is a very good site and they do have a contact link that you can send a picture and they will tell you if it is real.
