My mom has had this plant for over 50 years and I would like to know the name of it and how to care for it. To the best of my knowledge, it doesn't need a lot of water. She used to have it very full and I am wondering how to get it that way again. I have another one that just seems to been a long stem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That looks like a Hoya plant to me. Are the leaves semi thick?
It is some kind of an ivy.
Yes, I believe this is a Hoya plant but there are so many different kinds that you may have to go by the blooms to identify the correct name.
It looks like a Hoya to me. It has white waxy flowers.

This is a variety of hoya. One thing to note is that hoyas send out long stems which initially have no leaves; the leaves grow a little later, but these are the stems from which the flowers arise, so don't cut them off. When the blooms have gone by, there will be a little nub left on the stem; don't remove the nubs because they will be the source of flowers again the following year.
