A few months back, I took a cutting of this plant, put it in water until it rooted and then proceeded to plant in soil. It seems to grow fairly quickly, the leaves are green and white, but the new ones seem to be more yellow, is that normal? It kinda grows like a vine but the stem is flexible enough to make it twirl around the pot. How can I properly take care of this plant?

I believe that you have a Philodendron .
that is a variegated ponthos. it needs little light and water. dont let it dry out completely, before waterings. keep it moist. extremely easy to take care of
It is a scindapsus also called pothos or golden pothos. Beautiful and easy to grow.
