It looks like a species of Begonia
It looks like a type of Begonia.
Does it flower? I agree it has begonia lines. This link has some of the variations:
Let me know if you can get a better feel from comparing the plant to the photos.
Ive been looking at begonias all weekend and I think it is a beefsteak begonia. (It does flower)

I love begonias and this one has the larger leaves which usually stay very green.
You'll be able to tell for sure if it is a Beefsteak Begonia if you compare the flowers.
