I just want to know what kind of plant this is. What is it and how should I care for it?

It is a corn plant. Keep in a sunny room, but it does not require direct sunlight. Water when soil begins to feel dry. I always use the plant food spikes to eliminate trying to remember when to feed.
i can almost guarantee this is not a corn plant because the leaves are uniformly dark
i think its a tropical plant-schefflera-as such it needs humidity and lots of water
No, looks like a corn plant. Schefflera, umbrella plant, has stems with leaves like an umbrella - www.etsy.com/
This looks like a Dracaena and I believe it could be either a Janet Craig Bush or a Janet Craig Lisa Cane. I believe all of these are in the Dracaena Corn Plant family but have different leaves and stalks.
