I received this plant at my mother's funeral and I do not know what it is. Any help would be appreciated so I can learn how to care for it.

i believe your plant is a white Kalanchoe blossfeldiana.
I think it is a begonia. Put it in a sunny window and keep it evenly watered.
the picture is not completely clear so it would be hard to make a positive identification. For instance it would be helpful to see if the flowers are all white or have spots, or whether there is a single flower or composite. As well, it would help to know if it has a scent or not.
here is a link that will help identify a house plant www.houseplant411.com/
There are many plants/flowers that resemble each other and in deed, are many times in the same family.
Check the leaves on your plant - if they resemble either of the following photos then your plant is probably a Kalanchoe.

Hello !
I completely agree with Cybergrannie. It is a Kalanchoe. One of the very few dark green leaf plants that can stand full sun.
Hope this helps !
I agree it is a Kalanchoe. A white flower version. You can buy them in pink, and yellow too. The plant is a succulent and only needs water occasionally.
Looks very much like some sort of Kalanchoe.
I am fairly certain this is a white Kalanchoe
Definitely a kalanchoe.
