I think this is the Foley Dainty Rose pattern. I have never seen a mustache cup in this pattern, so I find it interesting. I am not familiar with every piece and this is not my specialty which is why I want to learn more!

You can ask www.replacement.com to confirm what you have. I don't know if they are open since all non essential businesses where I am were forced to close or work from home and I would assume it is the same where they are.

Some Foley patterns have held their value. This one is one of the more common patterns so it may be a bit lower than the others (if you are asking because you want to sell).

There are no sold pieces on eBay at the moment of any pieces in this pattern, but there are a few current listings.

The hard part is many sellers haven't a clue about pattern, so you may find things sold just called Foley Rose or Foley Flower or Foley Bouquet or Foley Floral. That makes me crazy...but I get it. Most people who sell are flippers and not collectors or admirers...so frustrating for those who really love the pieces and like to give them their given names.

There is still a small contingent in the world who collect mustache cups so you may have a better chance to sell than just a plain cup and saucer.

Although mustache cups are not rare (almost every large china company made different versions in the late 1800 - 1930's) this is certainly a pretty pattern.
Not sure a gentleman would wish to use it but a collector would probably treasure it.

There is a lot of history behind the Foley/Shelly brand but the mark on the bottom of your set shows it was made somewhere between 1894-1910. I did find a cup like yours (no saucer) that sold in 2015 for $6.50 but this is just one listing.

Here are some links to check out:

Replacements has some pieces of this pattern listed for sale:

Replacements is closed until further notice but here is the link to contact them for information:

If you are looking for value you can check out eBay sold listings but this will probably only give you a general idea of similar pieces as you may never find a sold listing for this pattern or design.

Google china mustache cups for a look at all the different brands and designs.

Hi! I know it's been 3 years, but do you remember where you saw that the one without a saucer was sold? I would greatly appreciate any info!!

Is there any identification on the bottom to help with the search. It is a very lovely set and deserves to have identity to know it's origin!

I know this is three years later but my mom had the same cup! She was missing the saucer though so I dug around for ages trying to find a matching one. This is pattern number 7447 sprig of roses. It is often just described as rose and is very similar to the rosebud shelley pattern. Although this one is the Wileman version, this pattern continued to be made when they switched to the Shelley brand name.

I see it mostly in the Gainsborough shape, but what you have is the Dainty shape which I found considerably harder to track down. Not sure if this is too late to be helpful but is hopefully interesting at least!
