I don't really think you will ever find any information about this painting at all. The signature on the painting is not one that I can find anywhere. This almost looks like a person was taking an art class and this was a project they did. I know a lot of people who have gone into painting recently and paint similar pieces just like this. They like the style of the painting and the color scheme that is used. I have a friend who does a lot of portrait painting for people here. What she does is very unique to me but the technique has been there for so long. She takes a color photo of the person, used a projector to project the image to canvas, then color or paints the canvas. This way it helps her to get down the right shading and colors she is looking for when the portrait is finished.
Going with my gut feeling only. I put looks like a self portrait of an amateur artist. Everything about it looks like a class project. That said, it has great colors and someone may love it!
I believe it is probably from an art class but if you wish to know for sure you can ask your question and post picture on several art forums. You can also post on Reddit as they identify painting all the time.
