Limited Edition dolls are usually mass-produced and have a value of $25 or less, even if never taken out of the box.

Without a certificate of authenticity (COA) or a box or a marking other than limited edition it is going to be challenging to learn more about her.

You can always put a detailed description of her in eBay search or Google images and see what pops up. I often learn about dolls that way.

There are a number of websites that you can post her to and they may know immediately who she is....she looks like one of the many dolls I sold back in the 1980s when I worked in Hallmark stores. The Victorian night clothes were popular sellers back then...especially the pinks!

Many a granddaughter got one of these for a birthday from grannie who hoped when the little girl got older, she could sell the lovely and pay for college. Sadly that dream never happened as the companies that made dolls WAY over produced them and the term "limited edition" has now became about as useless as the term "the check is in the mail".

If you are asking to sell, unfortunately, if she is out of the box and she has no COA, her value will be decreased even more (and since many of these dolls haven't held their value, that sometimes leads to numbers that are very small...sometimes even under $5.

BUT every doll is unique and unless you find an EXACT match and find out EXACTLY how much she sold for on eBay or another online auction site, you will be guesstimating her value.

Please post back if you need tips on selling her as is. I can offer you some guidance...don't want to bore you with it if that is not the path you are headed down.

It will probably take a true doll collector to be able to even come close to identifying your doll (or any doll without markings).

You can post your question/pictures to the following doll forum and they may be able to help you. You will need to state her measurements and anything you know about her age.
