Does anyone know who made this? My father is getting ready to move and found it. Neither of us remember seeing this doll ever.

I cannot identify the doll. I would upload the picture to the forum at www.dollreference.com. Someone should be able to help. I personally don't think it is expensive.
Just to clarify, I am not interested in price/cost. I am only interested in history of our family. Where things came from. How old they may be. If anyone has a direction to point me in that would be great! I tried what was suggested with no progress.
I am having trouble placing the signature. I feel it on the tip of my brain. What I think is the penned part--the TC number, leads me to think it is an Ashton Drake doll. There is a blogger who specializes in AD dolls....maybe if you send it to her, she can ID the signature of the top of her brain and tell you the year.
The blog is found at this link:
Please post back with what they tell you. Thanks!!
Hi,
This looks to be a bisque doll and one made for collectors. Here is a website that discusses bisque dolls and their origins and history.
