My doll is 34 inches tall, dressed in a Victorian type dress with a fan in her hand that matches the dress. She has rhinestone earrings and a rhinestone pendant with small pearl beads on her necklace. She has almost pink colored eyes and hands. Her feet, face, and chest are porcelain and the body is a hard stuffed cloth. The markings on her neck are: 108/1000. MARY BENNER. I found a few that are similar online, but can't find who my doll is. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I hope the site Judy provided can give you an answer.
Usually Benner dolls were one of a kinds or very small series--like 100 or 150, so if the truly is a series of 1,000 I am surprised and that may slightly lessen her value.
The thing is Benner dolls are still quite sought after and valuable. She had many Victorian style dolls, but I have never seen one with the unusual eyes yours has.
Please, please, please post back what you learn. I would love to learn more about her. I never got to sell Benner dolls when I worked in retail...they were a few notches above the Ashley Belle, Seymour Mann and like dolls that I sold when I worked in card and gift shops.
She is lovely. When you do learn more, you may want to talk to your insurance agent about insurance value on her if you are going to keep her. She is precious!! Thanks for sharing!
