What kind of doll is this and who made it? I can't find anything about it and she's absolutely beautiful, but I want to know where she was made and how old she is. We've had her for maybe 8 years and she was in a collector's room for years. Thank you very much.

She is lovely! The marking does not look familiar, except I believe the 97 is the year she was made.

This look was very common and even those of us who know a fair amount about a lot of dolls often have trouble telling, for example a DanDee doll from an Ashley Belle from a Seymour Mann. They all look alike and were sold to be collectible...which sadly for 90% of them did not happen.
