Identifying a Porcelain Doll?

Identifying a Porcelain DollDoes anyone know what this is worth? I says Albert Marque. Diane Harvey 1982 and also says SAM with a copyright symbol. The dress says it was from Nadine's doll clothes, antique and modern, San Francisco.

Albert Marque dolls are worth a small fortune, and I think you have a mass-produced doll in that style. Albert Marque died before 1982. I think this doll is worth $25 or less.

Hello! She is lovely.

Can you please give me some more info?

How tall is she?

Can you please post a clearer photo of all the markings, including the tag in the clothing?

Can you also take a photo of just the body and how the legs and arms and head are attached?

Her arms look to be plastic--is that the case?

While it would be amazing if you had a Marque doll, sadly he passed in 1939, so if you have a 1980s copyright, you may have something in the style, but not a true Marque.

With more info I may be able to help you figure out what you have.

My gut feeling is someone used a store bought outfit on "collector" doll from the 1980s to gussy her up a bit and make her look more valuable.

Not that that is always a bad thing, but I want to get you good info.

Please post back with more details. Thanks!
