Identifying a Porcelain Doll?

Identifying a Porcelain Doll - doll wearing plaid dress with floral jumper and matching hatI have no information for this doll (age, value, etc.). Can someone help me?
It has just the "SFK 49" on the back. Also, that's not her original clothing, she was wearing a green dress.

Thanks!

SFK dolls are found all over eBay and Etsy. They are NOT antiques, despite what some clueless sellers think. They are vintage from the 1970s-1980s, maybe early 1990s. I can't find my info to tell you what SFK stands for...I will keep searching.

If you are sure they are not the original clothes, you may be best selling the doll without clothes, as is. Sell the outfit separately.

Sadly the dolls do not have a lot of value in the market at the moment and you may fetch under $10 for the dress and under $5 or the doll.

Since she is fragile, you will be best to sell in a local (in person) venue.

You can honestly advertise her as an SFK 40 and if she has jointed (movable head, arms and legs). People who love them don't care much about the year so there is no need to bother with that. Just describe her size, hair and eye color also.

In a local setting (like flea market or yard sale) you won't have to mess with shipping. Sadly shipping these gals cost more than the dolls are worth which is part of why their values have tanked in the last few years!

Post back how your sale goes!

Thanks for sharing!

PS, in the ad, mention she is an "Open Mouth". Some people seek those...although it does not add value.

I don't sell her yet, I just want to have as many information as possible for my collection. I buy these dolls for very little money here in Greece !(I bought this one for 1) I also have her original clothing, it's a green dress..

You could post the picture to the forum at www.dollreference.com. They might not answer you if this is a mass-produced doll, which I think it is.
