I can't seem to find the brand, name, or value of this doll. The marking was hard to get a picture of, but the "i" in the signature seems to be dotted with a heart. It is also 171/250 LTD and stands about 29 inches.
Anyone able to offer some ideas!?

The 171/250 indicates how many dolls were made by the doll manufacturer. Your doll was 171 and they made 250 of these dolls. Normally these types of dolls are produced in mass quanity and shipped to all stoes around the world.
