This company made 750 of these exact dolls and yours was the 278th doll they made. The doll comes from a company who mass produces dolls which brings down the value of the doll. Today the market is flooded with dolls just like this because people are trying to get rid of them. Children are no longer asking for dolls to play with, but instead they want electronics. You may get lucky and be able to sell the doll for around $5 to $15. I would try and sell it locally and not online. Too many dolls have sat there for years and nobody buys them.

Wow!!! Lucky you to have a MONIKA LOVENIG doll!!!

These are one of the few dolls out there that are still fetching good money in auctions. I cannot for the life of me remember her name...the doll's name. Most of the Lovenig dolls fetch 200-500 dollars.

If you are not an experienced seller, best to find a local venue to sell her.

If you are experienced and comfortable mailing fragile items, I would start the auction high on eBay and let it run 7 days, Sunday to Sunday.

Please post back with how you sale goes or if you need more info! What a great find!!! Most dolls have very little resale value.

Thank you for the feedback! The dolls name is Rosalie. I will have to get my old eBay account up and running again. I appreciate all of your help. My Mom has tons of these types of dolls along with others that she has collected over her lifetime and wants to start selling so your info is very helpful to get us started.

Thanks again!

It looks like a doll called patience. With a different outfit than the original. She was part of a set with faith, hope and charity. I could be wrong, I watched qvc in the 90s.
