I purchased a new porcelain doll at a thrift shop and when I got it home I saw that it has Kanji writing on the neck. I have no other info with the doll. I would like to find the value.

The Spruce has a wonderful guide on how to identify your porcelain doll. They give you step by step instructions and teach you what to look for. This is the easiest way to identify your doll.

Kanji seems to be related to Japanese style writing and the Kanji doll could be a sort of "puppet".
Step 1
You do not show a photo or give any type of description so it would be difficult to put a value on your doll.
Step 2
There were several types of these dolls made but were never very popular in the USA.
Step 3
If you Google Kanji doll you will see several different types that are called Kanji.
Step 4
There are several dolls listed on eBay (the biggest doll auction site in the world) and the asking price seems to run between $10 - $30 but they are not fast movers so these could be listed for a long time and may never sell.
Step 5
eBay shows 1 Kanji doll has been sold over the past 6 months and it sold for $15.
You can check eBay yourself as it is an ever changing site and you may find a doll like yours (if you want more information).
The following links show the present Kanji dolls listed on eBay and the second link shows the doll that sold.

Kanji means good luck or fortune and in Japanese. It also means must win.
I need to know what the doll looks like. You would have to go on E-Bay over a two-month period to see the worth of your doll. When on E-Bay, look at actual sales and not listed prices.
