I found this doll in a closet and don't know if it is a Barbie. I can't find anything so far. There are no markings. Her arms, legs, and head are made of soft plastic while her torso is hard. She twists diagonally at the waist. She has the correct holes in her feet. Her neck seems slightly shorter than most modern dolls. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Barbies are always marked. There should be a year under her hair and a number on the small of her back. They probably will not match. One is the mold date of the head, the other the mold date of the body (AKA copyright dates)
There were many knock offs which is why it is so important to find markings and then research from there.
There are 3 Facebook groups that can be helpful to you if she is a knock off you can try her on the group:
1 is Let's Id our dolls!!!
2 is Doll & Toy Identification Help
3 (if you find dates) Vintage and Mod Barbie Collecting 1959-1972
Post back what you learn!! She is quite lovely!! I hope she is one of the Barbies that still have value. Although I will tell you, if she is, the rabid Barbie collectors are super picky and if she was played with, it instantly devalues her. So crazy!!
