I found this bug on my pillow after waking up. It wasn't there right when I woke up, but 20 minutes after. I have had past experiences with bedbugs, not in the same house, and it doesn't quite look like one. Can someone tell me what it is?
Thank you.

You better ask someone who knows what a beg bug looks like, if it doesn't look like the ones u have seen in the past then kill it and move on it might just be a regular bug cause if it's a bed bug u got some real troubles, ahead of u cause they accumulate, if see one bug u need to find out what it is before u have a house full of beg bugs. u gonna need Rosco the dog to smell them out dont wait. if its not a bed bug just smash it and see what it is. ok
look it doesn't look like a beg bug to me, kill it and move on.
This is called a Varigated Carpet Beetle - this insect loves cloth fibers, furniture, carpet. Here is some info on this insect - en.wikipedia.org/
When the season starts to warm up the bugs come in from outside. These are your typical carpet beetles that is in your home. They are annoying and need to be cleaned up and removed.
It could be a tick. I had one last year, apparently they attach themselves onto your body and drop off some time later. If you get a rash go and get it checked out. If you have no irritation on your body dont worry just a harmless insect.
