I have just found this red small lump near my dog's eye. We originally thought that it may be a tick, but realised it is not. Does anybody know what this is? I have done some research and have heard that Cocker Spaniels (such as my dog) commonly get lumps like these, but I wanted to know if it was anything to worry about!

Any type of lump on the skin of an animal is dangerous and should be looked at by a vet. This can be nothing or the vet may way to see if it grows larger. They could recommend that it be removed or they could just leave it alone. it is hard to say what the lump really is and I would make an appointment with your vet and have it looked at soon.
This requires a Vet to look at this. It would be the same as if you had a growth or lump that would bring you concern, so the voiceless deserves the same. Do what you can about getting your fur baby to the Vet. It's good to be safe!
