My mom had this toy as a child and we have been wondering where its from, how old it is, etc. I couldn't find anything by myself, so I'm wondering if anyone here knows about it's origins and what it's called.
My mom got it used from someone else somewhere around 1985. So we assume it's from the late 70s, early 80s. It is probably from Yugoslavia, but there is a possibility someone brought it from somewhere like Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Russia, or some other bigger European country.
According to my mom it was originally green and she added the pink scarf. The hat looks like it was cut off, but maybe that is just the design. No numbers, tags or writing. Its filled with what i assume are those plastic balls that stuffed animals are filled with to weigh them down, but my mom said it could be millet. The eyes are blue and the hair is light grey, but it is dirty, so maybe white.
I would really appreciate any information on this toy as it has a lot of sentimental value. Thank you in advance!

I dont think it is going to be easy to identify a doll that has no identifying markings or tags. You might want to upload the pictures to the forum at www.dollreference.com.
So when I saw the photos, before I read the details, I thought it was a Goldberger knockoff doll that could be found in every five and dime store in the US in the 1960s and 1970s. Sweet baby with lots of good memories in seeing it.
I don't know a lot about them...except most had a squeaker or rattle inside and they were probably dangerous to give to babies because of that and they stopped making them.
Are you located overseas?
How tall is she? Is the material terry cloth or a knit material--like a sweater? Does it rattle or squeak? Is the face rubber (squishy) or plastic (harder)?
Post back with more info! Such a sweet face!!
