This was my all for as long as I can remember and is my sons favourite too. He's had numerous repairs and I'd love to find another so my son can have a new(er) one. He gets quite upset that he can't see becausehe has no eyes.
He was bought in the UK in the mid 80s (I was born '84, but am not sure how old I was when he was given to me.) I do remember getting him, he had whiskers that were nylon(?) when I cuddled him them pricked my face, so I called him Spike, his name is still Spike, but I bit the whiskers off as a child. He has no label.

Tell your story on facebook, craiglist, and a uk listing. This will reach a lot of people who may have knowledge and love the same toy.
I am not sure you can ever find a new one to replace the one you have. However, you can have a new one made that will look just like this one and they can put the eyes back on the toy for you. Go here and check it out. www.budsies.com/
