I've had this giraffe since probably about 1995/1996. I don't know if he was made around that time. I don't know where he was purchased. We think he might have been from Toys R Us, but are not sure.
He stands about 24 inches tall I think. I don't care if he's valuable or not, since I am not looking to sell. I'm just curious.

Your giraffe looks to be in very good condition to be from 1995/96.
Not sure what information you are looking for as Toys R Us was in full swing during that period but this giraffe could have been sold at numerous toy stores.
Your label is good and shows he was made for the Brooklyn Doll Toy Company which is located in New York.
Here is a link to the company information.
You might try writing the company and asking your questions but I really doubt anyone can tell you exactly where this giraffe was sold as the label does not have a store name (so it was not an 'exclusive' for a store).
As to the age, this type of animal could have been sold over a period of 5 to 10 years as they usually continued to sell items as long as the public showed interest.

Thank you for the information. Yes, my giraffe is in quite good condition. Probably due to the fact that I was good with my toys as a kid. Plus he was mainly kept in my grandmothers basement, and hes been untouched for years.
Ill definitely check out the company information. I know I likely wont find out much. I just am curious, much like a person might be curious to find out what breeds are in their mixed breed dog. They dont really care. They just want to know more about something sentimental to them.
Since he was made in China we can pretty much say he has been mass produced. He is only worth about 25.00 to 30.00.You may also want to check TOY'S R US.
He looks like the toys r us , mascot, giraffe! You could go to social media for other guesses showing your pictures!
There isn't a lot of history about the company. It did open in 1952 and the company resides in New York. They do employ 30 people. Like you know all the toys are made in China and I can not find any images or information about the toy lines they do make.
