Identifying a Stuffed Rabbit?

Identifying a Stuffed RabbitI had a stuffed bunny rabbit from the time I was born till it went MIA a few years ago. After much research I think it is a Gund rabbit from the 80s. It looked exactly like the picture I uploaded, but instead of pink eyes and nose it had orange eyes and a black nose. Does anyone know where I can find a replica?

eBay or Etsy is going to be the best place to find him.

I suggest you keep your search general like Gund Rabbit or Gund bunny and go through every listing.

There are thousands at the moment.

Sellers often are just terrible at listing so by searching generally you can look for a visual that matches, and then read the ad carefully AND ASK as many questions as you need to clarify what they are selling.

You may find it in a lot with other Gund plush, so that is a third way to search...just Gund Plush or Gund stuffed animals and look through those.

It sounds daunting, but I often find what I want this way. It just takes a bit of patience.

Post back how it goes! Best wishes!!

If you know what the animal looks like, have a photo or even can give this one there is a website that can make the rabbit for you again. They even do make overs of old stuffed animals that kids have ragged around for years.

Check this out I think this is your answer on how to get your rabbit replaced. I know you will never find another one like the old one online these days. So instead get a brand new one made for you. www.budsies.com/

Do you think it's possible the rabbit's eyes were really pink and maybe changed color over the years? I do not believe anyone made bunnies with orange eyes -but - maybe so.

eBay and Etsy are the best sites to research but it will be a very time consuming job as there are always several hundred of these listed at any time. You can narrow your search some by checking vintage but still a lot to look at.

I had a very unusual teddy bear that went MIA back in the '70s. I've never seen one like him, only a picture once with no details. I still wish I had him. I wish you luck.
