This is an unusual bear but I have seen similar ones in the past just cannot remember if they were made by a company or if they were a kit.

There are forums that help people locate duplicates or provide information about stuffed toys so you might contact some of these for help.
There were 3D bear pillow kits at various times in my sewing days, but this one has all the hallmarks of a mom/granny created piece.
The ones I have seen were either made to be chairs or were made to sit on a shelf or were made for the pillow to be hugged.
This is co cute in that it looks like looks like someone actually cut apart a prized bear and assembled him/her into a bear with a pillow like body.
If you want to make one, I wouldn't think it would be that hard. Cut apart a bear and make the pillow base and stitch it all toghether. Make it wrong sides together (bear inside) then turn (bear on the outside now) and stuff.
Now if you want to find that exact bear, that may be much harder because usually when people sell stuffed animals you have to know the height of them and possibly the brand to find an exact match and since your bear has no bear body, you would have to search through millions of listings to try to find this face and those paws on a bear.

OMG!!! My little sister had one that looked just like this in the early 90's hers had a rounder body but the fabric is almost the same. I almost fell out of my chair when i saw this pic!! we have been trying to one very similiar to this as well as hers is so old it is on it's last threads. Did you ever find your bear? Please let me know if you did we are still on the search.
