I'm currently working on trying to figure out what exactly this bug is. I have been finding quite a few of them every once in a while in my basement apartment. I'm wondering what It is. I live in Warwick Rhode Island so I'm not sure what this is, but it's a tiny black bug with what I think are white stripes on his/her wings, so I'm not positive. Can someone please help?

It looks like a carpet beetle. Tell your landlord to exterminate
Any chance of posting a better photo? There are lots of really cool sites that show pictures so you can match exactly....the one I like is (I did it for your state as mine is different)

If it is something that you need an exterminator for, be very careful if you have pets that you keep them away from the treated area so they don't get sick from the chemicals...or better yet...see if you can find an exterminator who uses more natural solutions!
