Does anyone know what kind of bug this is? And how to get rid of it? I keep finding them in the bathtub. They are very tiny and slow moving. I can not tell if they have wings. Here are some pictures. It was hard to get a picture since they are so little.

Looks like silverfish. They like water and paper.

Prevention is the best medicine! A dehumidifier helps, as does getting rid of paper and cardboard. There is a good natural, safe way to get rid of them described here:

It's not a silverfish although that was a good guess... it is a Springtail, I have them all over my door step. These are tiny little guys but harmless and very beneficial.

This is a closer image of the Springtail
I have something that looks exactly like this but I think it is what's biting me... also, I found it in my bed. Any other ideas other than silverfish or does a silverfish bite?
I just had something like this on my arm. It bit me, which is what drew my attention to it.
This is NOT a silverfish. The tail is wrong and the insect is almost as small as a grain of sand. I have them in my bathtub. No one has identified them for me.

This is not a silver fish. It's alot smaller. Anyone else?
I saw these bugs in my window and then a month later in my bathroom sink I used tea tree oil on my window and there were a lot of dead bug that were there after a week
It seems like the bug is only about 1.5mm long. I just saw one that looks similar to the one pictured. I used two strong pairs of reading glasses to try to get a better look at it. It looks different to me from a silverfish, which I've seen much bigger than this bug.
Silverfish do bite but their bites are usually more serious because they have a small amount of venom at least as adults.
hey you might have like black fly.. they really look the same as the picture but they can run pretty fast.. aslo if you blow on them you can see them like jumping around.. the pupae not fully developed have wing but cant really fly but they jump
Not a silverfish. But I have no idea I'm trying to figure it out myself I have some in my garage sometimes and sometimes they're on the floor but yes they are small as can be. I've never had them in my bed or on me or I've never been bitten by one. I just don't know what they are.
It is a silverfish. Wipe down the shower with a squeegee and keep fhe window open or fan running to get the moisture out.
Firebrat/silverfish. They love humidity so get rid of that as much as possible.
Certainly looks like silverfish and there are probably a lot more that you do not see.
I will be a dissenting voice and say they look a bit like a German Cockroach to me.
I also thought these could be a German cockroach because they are so common and they like bathrooms but I copied the picture, cropped and enlarged it and although it is still very blurry, you can see the "stripes" across the neck/head that silverfish have and German roaches do not seem to have.
I have them in my bedroom and they seem to like the light of my phone and I only see them when it's dark when I turn on the light I don't see them they seem to fly but I never seem to see them move they also don't seem affected when I blow on them or when I touch them to try to get them to leave I have been getting bites from them that itch like crazy I have no idea what they are or how to get rid of them
Please let me or anyone know when u find out. Ive been seeing and having same problem...even went to the hospital...looked at me like I was crazy and as if I were on drugs or had been! I was Devastated to say the least!! I wasent on drugs!!! But I did think I was going crazy...especially after that! But ive got bad sensitivity to bites and stuff...but I SAW THESE LITTLE ALMOST MICROSCOPIC MONSTERS!
I was searching more online and found a good possible identification of the tiny bug. Book lice or similar. en.m.wikipedia.org/
i dont know, but i found one in my batrhoom (trying to get past the sink) and it doesnt like water
