Help! I am trying to identify the markings on this vase. There are a few that are very similar. The base is about 12 to 14 in tall, gold with what looks like a dark grey or black crackle. Please help me find the value.

The vase is beautiful.
This mark has too many characters for me so I would have to find someone with considerable knowledge to translate this for me.
There are several Asian/Chinese/Japanese shops and restaurants in my area and I have had very good luck getting help with this type of translation.
Maybe you could take the vase to several places as seeing it in person usually makes a big difference. Most people are very nice and helpful if you do not stop by when they are busy.
This type of marking may be something you see quite often but I have several sites that help me translate markings like this.

My go-to place for help is usually always Reddit and if you've never used this group then now would be a good time to join and start getting expert help.
Your photo is rather blurry so you might need to take several just in case a symbol cannot be read clearly.
They need a good picture of the vase and measurements.
This site can be more difficult to use but help is always available.
Find someone who can translate the makers mark. Then you can start your research
I'm pretty sure it's a Chinese vase. I think it is from 20th century.

Beautiful vase. You may want to have your vase professionally appraised, especially if you're thinking of selling it. Here's a site that provides appraisals for a fee:
