To me it looks like a pie safe where one sets pies to cool after baking. I can't tell from the picture how deep the shelves are.

This appears to be an office/shop filling cabinet.
- You do not say if you know anything about this cabinet so it is kinda difficult to answer as age would give a better idea of what it was used for.
- It is also unusual that it has an open back (unless the back has been removed?).
- The drawer handles resemble older office cabinets and the flat drawers look like some of the older "printing" cabinets that held print type and other printing supplies in the bottom drawers.
- At first, I thought it might be a blueprint or map cabinet but it may not be wide enough for these.
- If it is a vintage/antique cabinet it could be valuable so be sure to get an appraisal before trying to sell it.
- There are some free auction sites on line but be sure to check before submitting your item as not all sites that state free are really "free".
- You might want to check out one of these:
- dealers.antiquesnavigator.com/.../
- antiques.lovetoknow.com/Free_Antique_Appraisals_Online
- You might want to check with an antique shop in your area as they may have some suggestions about type and value.
