I recently purchased this, and I can't find an actual date or maker's name. I have googled trying to find the style of the leg, but I've not seen one similar.
It appears to have had a mirror or back of some sort. There are metal support bars built in, and a few holes have been properly filled with wood plugs. A few other spots have also been fixed. I hope to find the age and type of wood used.

This is a very old piece, because the dovetails are done by hand. A dealer could better help you determine what wood was used and how old it is.
Take as many close up pictures that you can to show to dealer or specialist to get a closer identification of the piece. Just lovely!
If there is nothing on the bottom of the drawers then you will need to have this looked at by a dealer. The legs indicate this is hand carved and could be worth a good deal of money.
Your photos are dark and my computer old, but I can get the gist of it...which is a lovely piece.
I am thinking it is oak, 1800s, possibly hand made.
