Sadly, I do not have a photo available, but what I'm looking for is so different from anything I've found that I hope it will be enough. For Christmas back in 1997 (or 1996, but it was most likely 1997), I received a horse plush.
This horse was a floppy beanie horse (beanie in the body, mostly) was maybe six to eight inches long. He was not a Beanie Baby. He was a tan color with a large white blaze on his face from the mane to the end of his nose. His eyes were hard and brown, not embroidered. His hooves were dark brown, as was his mane and tail.
Most importantly: the mane and tail were made of thin strings/yarn!
I emphasize this because everything I've found has a poofy, fuzzy mane; the ones that didn't were bipedal horses instead of quadrupedal.
Also: the body wasn't that minky or microfiber plush blanket type material. It was soft, but short.
The tag originally was under the tail. Thank you for any possible help. Mine is in a box somewhere, mane and tail completely gone, on eye cracked, and much of the "fur" worn away. He was very, very well loved.

Without a photo of the horse it almost makes it impossible to help out. You might want to try and post this description on FB.
