It looks like a Beatrix Potter figurine. The most expensive one I saw on eBay was asking $27.99.

This might be a Goebel Figurine. If so, it will go for around $25 - $30 dollars on ebay. I love this, and it is so cute.

Is it resin or ceramic? Resin is rough and is much harder to break.

If it is resin, I think it is a 1980s Enesco piece.

Can't tell for sure, until I know material and dinensions.

If you post back with more information, I might be able to get you more info! Thanks!!

Its resin I think and it's fairly small approx 3 inch x 2 inch.

That is small!

My four thoughts are it is either a Russ, an Enesco, or an Oriental Trading Company piece or one of the generic pieces sold at the Dollar Store or places like World of Value from the 1970s on.

Perhaps you can send a picture to Russ, Enesco or Oriental Trading and ask if this was from their lines. I know Russ and Enesco used to use paper stickers on the bottom, so that you don't have one is not unusual as the glue usually didn't last long and they fell off. I am not as familiar with Oriental Trading Co protocols.

I think Russ Berrie is still around and I found this phone number:
201) 337-9000

Enesco is still around: 800) 436-3726

Oriental Trading is still around: 800) 348-6483

There are too many Dollar Stores to even try to guess which entity may have sold it, so that is probably not a valid option.

Post back what you learn!! It is very sweet and will look so cute this time of year on a shelf!
