If I dyed my hair a lot and got split ends and then I got a Mohawk with a ducktail and now it won't grow what do I do?

I have had very good success by trimming the ends very little by the moon. Go to Farmers Almanac web site and it will tell you the best day of the month to trim your hair for growth. I had never been able to get my hair past my bra line but after trimming it that way, it grew to my waist.
Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for growing hair or repairing damaged hair. First, you need to be very careful about how you treat it. Stop using any harsh products on your hair. Avoid gels/sprays with alchohol. Use shampoo for dry/damaged hair and a good conditoner. You should also try not to die it anymore until it grows out. Be gentle when you brush/comb so as not to cause more split ends. Continue to get regular trims. I know this sounds like the opposite of what you should do but regular trims keep split ends from getting worse.
