How and when did you get your pet?
We adopted Ibby from a cat rescue when he was 8 weeks old.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
Ibby loved cat nip, food, purring and kissing Mommy. He also sat up on his back legs to look around, like a prairie dog. Running laps at 4 a.m. was his exercise and he did it with gusto!
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
Ibby was diagnosed as feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) positive (much like AIDS in humans) and still lived to be 19 years old. He very recently passed away, but he never showed a symptom. At one point he weighed 22 pounds! He was an enormous sweetheart who loved to lay on Mommy and purred all of the time! He was quite the lover and I miss him every single day. He's buried under the willow in the back yard so I get to visit any time I want. He still listens very well. <3

Beautiful cat. It's amazing just how much they touch our everyday lives. My cat is getting old and I know some day, he will also go leaving me heartsick behind. I know I'll adopt another tuxedo cat when that happens. There are so many cats in the shelters where I am, they are not accepting strays :( . Thanks for sharing.
